We chose this challenge because it caught our attention. We were surprised that there is not yet an efficient form of internet sharing in the ocean.
Our project aims to utilize existing and adapting meteoceanographic buoys to transmit and share internet between them using the NASA-created DTN network to ensure that data reaches the final source without signal failure interruptions, forming a network huge, covering all parts of the ocean.
Our biggest difficulty in preparing the project was the lack of knowledge in the area and experience. The biggest achievement was to be able to carry out the project even without having much knowledge.
Analyzing data provided by NASA and other sources to be able to identify and verify the positions of existing sea buoys that themselves already form a huge network, thus using their positions for greater use.
