The Challenge | Rising Water
Sea levels are rising around the world, and approximately 40% of the human population lives in coastal zones. Your challenge is to help communicate the impacts of rising oceans by creating a visualization tool that illustrates the changes caused by rising sea levels in your region.
Atlantis : Will it Be A Reality Soon?
To raise awareness among world communities regarding the rise of sea levels/water by using data derived from NASA database in an interactive way through a worldwide social networking sites.
Proposed visual tool for this theme is creating an Environmental Meme and GIF (with NASA as the main official platform) which focuses on the challenge mentioned above: Rising Water.
The meme and GIF is created by editing photos/videos sources derived from NASA data and researches. The edited media should be humorous enough to attract the attention of world communities yet informative.
Data included could be time lapse of melting rate of glaciers (Greenland, Antarctica, Arctic etc.) , coastal tide gauge data, or/and any relevant data which shows the critical changes towards Earth's condition (be it temperature, C02 emission etc.)
