The Challenge | Trash Cleanup

Oceanic garbage patches are collections of marine debris that come together due to ocean currents; they have devastating effects on ocean ecosystems. Your challenge is to design a mission to help clean up garbage from the ocean!

Autonomous marine oil fighter

A submarine robot that is going to collect the oil in oceans autonomously while getting the coordinates from an AI that makes an image processing from the satellites images . Also have a synchronize alarm of leaking in "big ships" and oil stations.

CleanAman

Enormous harm is facing the ocean everyday due to the waste oil, some being accidental spills or leaks.

It's estimated that approximately 706 millions gallons of waste oil enter the ocean every year. Nearly 20 percent comes from routine maintenance of ships.

Explanation:

Our solution consider of a submarine robot that is going to collect the oil in oceans autonomously while getting the coordinates from a server an AI that makes an image processing from the satellites images . Also have a synchronize alarm of leaking in "big ships" and oil stations. Using thermodynamic 1st and 2nd laws with an integrated electronic circuit and the magic sponge(absorbing only oil).

More application (Future development):

  • Payload cameras to observe the ocean life.
  • Being useful by spreading WiFi connection .
  • Solar energy.
  • Improvement of oil treatment.
