And what a wonderful journey we spent at the NASA Space Apps Challenge

Our team was formed 3 days before the challenge and we actually met two other members on the day of the event but still we worked together so well and in harmony as if we have known each other for too long ,and that’s the beauty of it .

First day of the challenge :

We had a brainstorming session to sort out our ideas and imagine how our solution will be.. The team members spoke their minds out and we had very rich and creative ideas..

We had plenty of brilliant ideas but the actual implementation in real life was hard bringing us to our first problem which was the detection/prediction of the garbage location due to the difficulty of understanding most of the data given by NASA,

We left two members to take care of this task and the others started working on the collection and the recycling processes .

The first day ended with a delicious tea and ice cream !

The night of the second day, we divided sleeping hours between us even though we did get a full night of sleep but we kept pushing and it was for a good reason .

We came across few problems and obstacles on the second day but we could solve them !

Thanks to the Coaches who gave us a plenty of useful advices !

Last day of the challenge: Now, everything is ready to be presented in front of the judges ! we are encouraging our two speakers !

A rehearsal for the pitch was also required !

And yesss , we did it, we got the first prize !

It is not over yet , The work is still not done !

It is not about the destination, it is about the journey . And we are grateful and proud of the work we have done and where are now !
