Oceanic garbage patches are collections of marine debris that come together due to ocean currents; they have devastating effects on ocean ecosystems. Your challenge is to design a mission to help clean up garbage from the ocean!

A sustainable solution to the problem of pollution in the marine ecosystem
Our project is born to give a possible and achievable answer, in the immediate future, to the problem of water pollution due to plastics and other dangerous materials spread all over the marine environment.
The idea developed demonstrates how to implement a tool to detect and collect garbage, based on satellite radar technologies linked to a mobile app.
All supported by a real economic sustainability.
