Oceanic garbage patches are collections of marine debris that come together due to ocean currents; they have devastating effects on ocean ecosystems. Your challenge is to design a mission to help clean up garbage from the ocean!
Pulsamar
Due to the large amount of floating garbage in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, we created Pulsamar, which people who are offline on the high seas can tell the exact location of large amounts of plastic in the ocean from a photo and geographic coordinates.
Pulsamar used database provided by NASA and scientific articles to locate and quantify the amount of garbage through the ocean aiming to better understand this problem.
From it an application was developed to help organizations and enterprises interested in gather this plastic. This is set in a PWA platform which uses a clean interface with impactant graphics aiming to show the real severity in the oceans situation.
