The Challenge | Trash Cleanup

Oceanic garbage patches are collections of marine debris that come together due to ocean currents; they have devastating effects on ocean ecosystems. Your challenge is to design a mission to help clean up garbage from the ocean!

Re-Oceans

An Autonomous unmanned multi-hulled boat (catamaran) which packs up plastic for release it to the oceans to be collected by other mission vessel. With an app web that synchronizes ship info, trash recollected and log in/sign up for recovery missions.

Re-Oceans

Re-Oceans is a Trash clean up solution in our oceans. A design was created of an autonomous unmanned catamaran, a ship with two hulls, which recollects plastic in meshes and then unleash them to the sea to be recovered in a mission. The app web allows to see in real time vessel status, meshes picked, and shows to the community how to collaborate in this project.
