The Challenge | Trash Cleanup

Oceanic garbage patches are collections of marine debris that come together due to ocean currents; they have devastating effects on ocean ecosystems. Your challenge is to design a mission to help clean up garbage from the ocean!

Trash CleanUp

Octadrone and electric ship will be implemented for ocean trash cleanup.

WaiX

Octadrone and electric ship will be implemented into the solar automated system. Images of the ocean's surface will be capture and processed. Every images that have captured will be sent to the control central for trash identification. Signals of the trash location will be sent to the ship for collection. The location of the trash ill be identified by using satellite and radio wave will be sent within the transmission of the drone to ship. As for the collision avoidance, infrared ray will be used to detect the obstacles near the ship. When the drone has low battery, it will go back to its belong ship's charging station. Once it is fully charged, it will get back to the location where it stop previously.

Dataset that NASA provided will be used for identifying the location of the islands and ocean creatures for further implementation. The weather of the area also need to be notified when the drones and ships are working. Details of the drone, solar and GPS 3D triangulation need a deep research as the entire process is affected by its structure.
