Oceanic garbage patches are collections of marine debris that come together due to ocean currents; they have devastating effects on ocean ecosystems. Your challenge is to design a mission to help clean up garbage from the ocean!

Our project is a U shape floater.plastic sensors are put on it, net connected its bottom and it stretched by small masses.We put two ships at the ends of the net to control its motion, collect and recycle the collected plastics by electricity from Peltier.
we used NASA data as a resource to identify the area of oceans and amount of wasted materials in it and that helped us to calculate the specific area that we will work on and to know the efficiency of our project .
the challenge that we faced was that the 3D printer disrupted and we became late to do our prototype.
