Team Curious has received the following awards and nominations. Way to go!
In this era of science and technology to some students physics is just a boring subject. And science is just a topic of wonder. But science is now more than that.
NASA and some other organizations has discovered many fun and very exciting secrets of science . But every one are not aware of this open data.So to solve this problem we need to find a easy and fun way to learn science and to make NASA'S all this data easy to understand .Then we though that games are very fun.So, if we can make a game to experience this NASA data with a fun learning process it would be great .so we created "Physics Ball" a game which we have to install on our android device . To experience the augmented reality we need any VR-headset. Then using Bluetooth we have to connect our ball with the device. After that we can start playing the game. First in the game we have to answer some basic physics questions then gradually the game will tell us to interact with the ball like throwing , spinning , pushing , making sound etc. The acceleration , gyroscope , sound , tuch , force etc sensors in the ball give some data to the game . Then based on those data the game will ask us some basic physics questions . IF we give the correct answer we will get a virtual coin to play a another game.In which we can watch a 3D simulation of some models like moon, earth etc.We can even make our own planets in the game and watch it in VR . As the rotation and movement of the simulations are controlled with the ball it feels like a real object in our hand in the VR . We are using NASA data to calculate the math and to collect the models. we are using NASA 3d model database .And some unity packages also some ARDUINO libraries .OUR GITHUB LINK :
