The Challenge | 1UP for NASA Earth
Your challenge is to create a new video game that uses NASA Earth data, providing players a novel way to interact and have fun with NASA Earth data. What you create can inform, educate, inspire, or simply provide an enjoyable experience for players – the Earth is your stage!
TeleportAR
TeleportAR is a portal where the students can have an imersive experience in augmented and mixed reality, using NASA Earth and Google Earth for improve their knowledge and create a link between theory and practice.
- The application is a portal for selected places using Nasa Earth and Google Earth Data, creating an immersive experience with augmented reality and mixed reality to improve the students comprehension about the subject of the class, creating a link between theory and practice.
- The application has 2 initial options: Teacher and Student. Selecting “teacher”, the teacher will be able to select the place where his students can go. He can also create a Quiz for the students, and then, the app generate a PIN for their students. Selecting “Student”, the students put the PIN number and enter in the portal that the teacher has created. At the end, the students will see a Question generated by images of NASA Earth for rewarding their success.
- This is the idea of TeleportAR. Resolves ODS 14,15 and 17, helping the students and teachers using the data provided by NASA and Google to create a better experience for everyone.
