The Challenge | From Curious Minds Come Helping Hands
Your challenge is to design and build an innovative platform to integrate satellite data and information about vulnerable populations and environmental hazards in order to identify the most at-risk populations. Be creative and think outside the box. How will you identify those people that are often missed, but need aid the most?
HUMAN+AId
This project aims to minimize impacts of disasters and learn with the past events information and improve the rescue mission in the future.
The system is responsible to help immediatelly people in critical situation. This software was planned to be a mobile native app, made in Flutter because it allow to deploy the same code in Android, iOS, Windows, Linux and macOS. The problem is to reach all people, and probably not all will have the app installed. So we gave up the native app and we decide to write a responsive web app.
The image above shows a critical area in red and safe area in green. If the user can't move, he can ask for helping in the same interface.
