We started thinking about the possible environmental hazards and what are the factors that might cause more problems to vulnerable populations. However, there are so many possibilities that we had to change the approach to a one more solution-oriented.

We identified who were the most vulnerable populations in the world and finally focused on the sub-saharian Africa, just as the description of the challenge described. What is the data available for each region? What are the sources of this data?

Satellital images are a good resource but it's difficult to extract all the information from them in such a limited amount of time, so we're still delivering what we can do with the limited data we can find.

Our recomendation: focus on WHO you're going to solve any problem and WHO are the persons that are going to use your app or platform.
