Global Nominee

The Challenge | From Curious Minds Come Helping Hands

Your challenge is to design and build an innovative platform to integrate satellite data and information about vulnerable populations and environmental hazards in order to identify the most at-risk populations. Be creative and think outside the box. How will you identify those people that are often missed, but need aid the most?

Super Citizen

We use real time data from IMERG and TRMM to consolidate a flood and rain analysis with a collaborative plataform for resolving flood causes.

Space VitALL

The objective of the project is to connect people, government and NASA to help and assist the community in avoiding flood disasters. Using IMERG "Early Run" 24 hours and TRMM Flood potential, we construct an app solution called the "Super Citizen", that works as an interactive map showing flood risks and giving power to people of the community to help marking places where the goverment can act to resolve possible flood causes, such as residues on the streets or blocked manholes.

Aiming for the 5.0 society, the application we build in IONIC framework, XAMPP, MySQL, Apache,Azure DevOps with continuous deployment, PHP language with framework LARAVEL, NODE JS and combines NASA IMERG and TRMM APIs to overlay and use Google Maps Engine API to locate and provide data for users around the globe to act for the community and prevent flood disaster.

The step by step follows locating risk areas, creating and sharing a report, gather credibility as more and more citiziens like and share the same problem, so as our algorithm can send a status report for the responsible govermenent entities.
