The Challenge | Rise to Resilience!

You are a newly appointed Regional Green Engineer. Your challenge is to develop green infrastructure solutions for complex challenges in water management and risk reduction.Create a tool to assess the characteristics of an urban or rural area of your choice, and integrate green infrastructures, or nature-based solutions, into that region’s development plans to1) reduce flood and/or drought risk2) establish sustainable land use practices3) support water management, and/or 4) produce local economic opportunities.

let's use electrical engineering to make most out of soil

Greetings earthlings! let us share with you the details of out little project. After a some time of consideration our team decided to make agricultural tool which uses electrical engineering and chemistry to measure up to 15 specification of soil and air. As you know the data that satellites deliver about soil in not 100% accurate and some specification like PH level have a large error in there value. Our aim is to collide NASASs satellite data with our tools data and create much more reliable database of soil specification. Using this observation data we created software which helps us to visualize which part of land is good for which type of vegetation. Software will display this information on map, we believe this is good and simple interface for people to use. Image displayed below shows data flow diagram.

In our opinion this kind of information will help people on earth to use soil in the most efficient way and most importantly will help us avoid some of the natural disasters caused by misused soil.
