We end up winning! We are so happy and grateful to anyone involved. To NASA, to the U.S. consulate in Naples, to the organisation and the University and to all the other teams. It was an amazing experience we treasure a lot! Now we have to prepare the video to compete in the Global challenge! See ya!

We can even obtain discounts on property taxes or insurances after itβs certified that the greenification happened cause it could change the landscape and obtain important results in contrasting flood, drought, soil erosion, water retention and co2 in the atmosphere, just to name a few.

The gamification would be a great idea to have people on the platform and engaged in the process, a link to social network can have them hook up in a gamification structure that can help the spread of the idea and save the planet at the same time!

The first analysis of the Challenge brings us to think about restricting the scope to some specific requests in order to concentrate our efforts on the sectors in which we think the most impact can be created. In particular the thought about bringing the public or customer part of society into the work needed to address the environmental problems we are facing
We thought about the option to have two tools that will compose our solution, specifically a professional app and a customer app
We decide to divide the functionality of these apps in two sectors, the professional one would manage data from NASA satellites and add Machine Learning analysis to harvest most data possible, the customer one would display recommendations for the most useful plants for a specific place based on the datasets using Augmented Reality. We want to give visual representation to help them understand the passages they need to make the most out of their land.
