You are a newly appointed Regional Green Engineer. Your challenge is to develop green infrastructure solutions for complex challenges in water management and risk reduction.Create a tool to assess the characteristics of an urban or rural area of your choice, and integrate green infrastructures, or nature-based solutions, into that region’s development plans to1) reduce flood and/or drought risk2) establish sustainable land use practices3) support water management, and/or 4) produce local economic opportunities.

A house that respects our planet.

A proposal to safeguard our Planet with a use of the natural resources, so we created an eco-sustainable structure in 3D using natural materials such as wood and bamboo, the structure is located above a deposit of wastewater and there are solar panels.

Our Team wanted to create a structure using ArchiCAD to make the vision of a sustainable house as realistic as possible. Created using a natural wood treated with linseed oil, many windows and doors to allow natural light to enter, installation of solar panels to provide electric current to the house and to allow the operation of the heating system connected, however, to vacuum tubed solar collector. Furthermore, the house is located above an artificial basin fed by sulphuric water. Presence of many plants such as "SANSEVIERIA" to purify the air and remove antibacterial and antioxidant substances. The house is furnished with low-energy appliances, and we thought of installing a shower instead of a bathtub for less water consumption. With this type of house, isolated from the urban area and immersed in the green, we want to show the importance of a cleaner planet to live better and to leave a better world for future generations.
