The accelerated process of urbanization, coupled with the lack of environmental awareness of the population, has enhanced the degradation of riparian forests around these resources. In Salvador and Lauro de Freitas, for example, according to INEMA, 81.5% of rivers are considered bad or bad by the IQA. In this sense, riparian forests have the environmental function of preserving and restoring the quality of water resources, biodiversity and protecting the soil of the affected regions.
Inspired by the challenge "Rise to resilience!", We turn our eyes to the lashes. In order to restore riparian forests in the critical regions, we have created a spider web platform that will help reforest degraded riparian areas. Using satellite image data provided by NASA, we will map these areas.
The platform was named "GeoCarbo" due to the big global problem that is the emission of greenhouse gases.
Based on this, our target audience will be companies that emit these gases and need to compensate for nature.
The platform utilities for the client:
1- Based on the customer evaluation, we will indicate the area appropriate to your need.
2- We will make the project available with the mapping of this area, obtaining the best implementation.
3- We will provide the ideal partnerships.
Environmental Benefits:
1- Avoid flooding;
2- Allows water management;
3- Balances the water ecosystem;
4- Prevents erosion and siltation of water resources.
5- Resolution of microclimates.
