We are 209 million people in Brazil, and 8 million are in potential risk to flood and its impacts, as loss of housing, diseases and death - the last twenty years it has caused over 2.500 deaths.

The main causes of flood are overflowing rivers, storms surges and lack of vegetation.

Said so, in order to attempt to reduce the risk of floods and to recompose the degraded areas, we suggest a solution to integrate both.

Our solution consists in having an open and secure platform, currently is a website however with possibility of being an app, that will work as an environmental solutions agency.

Our role will be work as a facilitator providing resources that enables the integration between companies and partners with degraded areas for recovery, using NASA data.

How will it work?

We have several environmental laws that companies need to be comply with. Some of the companies could work preemptively and others will work reactively, when they are already fined.

Our platform will provide the scan of degraded areas that need to be recomposed, it could be a riverside, a private area, a devasted forest or woods - all areas must be properly authorized. The mapping of this area will be possible due to updated NASA data.

To support the accomplishment of company’s needs, the platform will provide an exclusive area with all the partners and their areas that will help in this project.

The partners will be selected judiciously, and they will able to fill all the regulatory aspects of the law.

How will it help?

Riparian forest and greater amount of drainable soil allow greater runoff of water, which may prevent flood risk.

What will be the advantages?

The advantages for the companies will be agility in the process, resource optimization, recognition of their companies for sustainable practices, adaptation to the new market demands, inclusion of partners that will be the connection with those who needs be on compliance.

At last, the most important advantage, will bring back the green, more rain and less flood, social and economic development of the community, and a better planet to live in!
