The purpose of our chatbot is to inform about atmospheric phenomena and allow the user to create alerts about them. For example, the user can create an alert to be informed about atmospheric phenomena in his/her location or just in one of them, like earthquakes, storms...

Also, RovertBot offers advice about how to act in each situation, so it would help you to face those phenomena in the right way. It also offers the weather forecast of the place and date that you choose.

The chatbots sector is rising, and every day more users use them to obtain information because it’s very natural communication and it’s very similar to communicate with another human.

Nowadays, the majority of the population always carry their smartphone, that is the reason why this method is perfect for emergency situations.

Rovert has been develop using dialogflow and it mixes a conversational and directed flow, following you can see the directed flow chart of our bot:

To provide the weather information we use the World Weather Online API, also we use USGS and Nasa API's to get the phenomena data.
