Hello Everyone,
We are Abacus Xtreme, a small team of Rajsahi, Bangladesh consists of 3 Developer and one Designer. We are working with a project, named RETEA – Real Time Evaluation of Asteroid. Which is satisfying the Sub category “Show the world the data”
For this purpose we have chosen NEO(Near Earth Object). Main motto of our project is to increase human interaction with space and save the world from asteroid collision.
We have done these tasks throughout our project –
Our problem was to gather correct amount of data for training the network. We have solved our problem using Deep Neural Network. We had to collect data set of Atten, Apollo, Armor class asteroids. We have classified PHA (Potential Hazardous Asteroid) by considering AU (Astronomic Unit) and MOID (Minimum orbit Intersection Distance) of an asteroid. The Neural Network model include some key steps to consider data to be trained or tested for classification and future predictions:
We have predicted different kind of impacts with our model –
This is our prototype -
Where we can get the list of asteroid that can hit earth by clicking the Generate Asteroid Button & respective information of the asteroid is shown here. Here we have plotted the asteroids by sorting the distance from earth in ascending order.By clicking any of the asteroid we can get all information of that asteroid & a 3D interactive view of that asteroid.& by clicking the button “Calculate Impact” we can see the predicted impact of that asteroid.List of all asteroid that can hit today or in near 7 days are available here. Our future plan with this project is to deallocate asteroid from its path to save the earth from Collision.
We propose to build a small space station that will be the storage site for the. Photons, aggregated from the sun.Inside the space station we will have collider that works on the principle of. Second Harmonic generation (SHG). The collider will basically keep on combining 2 photons to develop the 3rd photon with a different angular frequency and then combine the newly generated photons too, continuing this process to store up Photons of huge energy and also conserving their momentum until an asteroid is detected to be
deflected.Once the asteroid is detected the space station will use the stored Photons. The asteroids course will then be changed by a beam of highly dense anisotropic emission of thermal Photons that will deflect the asteroid by the phenomenon of the Yarkovsky effect.
Thank you everyone.
