Global Finalist

The Challenge | Show the World the Data!

NASA’s open data sources hold an abundance of imagery. Mapping that imagery to a digital globe makes the data interactive and may enable people to discover relationships among ecosystem phenomena. Your challenge is to develop a digital globe web-app that visualizes Earth science data using NASA’s Web WorldWind.

How did it change?

"How did it change?" is a visualization web app that allows users from all ages to see how the earth changed over time, in regards to several categories selected by NASA!

goto.lua

Hi, we are the goto.lua team.

Our goal is to simplify access to information through visualization!

"How did it change" will help people from all ages see how the earth changed over time. We don't want to tell people what to think. We want them to see the data for themselves!

We allow users to select one of several datasets provided by NASA Earth Observations and fetch such data in chronological order. Through a minimalistic interface, the user is able to explore how the Earth changed over time.

We hope that this will help people take their own conclusions to what is happening to our planet, based on scientific data. The platform is up and running, check it out!
