We built a prototype with Arduino Uno using temperature, pH and turbidity sensors to identify if the fresh water source is drinkable. This prototype is charged by a lipo battery and uses solar energy as power supply. This prototype can be placed in any fresh water source, such as rivers, lakes and cisterns and through a simple RGB code, the surronding community can check if it is safe to drink from such a source at the moment.
We built the design of an app that could get the data from the prototype through bluetooth and send to a cloud storage. We also built a power BI interface to facilitate the track of several of those prototypes at once.
