The Challenge | Smash your SDGs!
Your challenge is to develop creative solutions that use Earth observations to address the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and foster sustainable development worldwide. Use NASA and other Earth observing satellites’ data as well as information generated by crowd-sourcing and in-situ measurements to create practical applications that support environmental and societal policy across water, health, food security and/or land use domains.
Mygreen
The mygreen app uses NASA data to improve your lifestyle. How: Encouraging healthy habits, shared environments and a less polluting city.

PROBLEM
- 4.2 million of peoples die every year due to ambient air pollution
- 3.8 million of peoples die every year due to household air pollution
- The number of early deaths caused by air pollution is double previous estimates, according to research, meaning toxic air is killing more people than tobacco smoking.
- Lack of information about air quality and ambiental problems leads to a lifestyle that is harming our world.
SOLUTION
An interactive application that encourage and raise awareness through the gamification of peoples's lifestyle. We cross NASA’s data with user behavior and generate a score. By meeting the challenges your score improves and helps your city to achieve it’s SDGs.
