In order to SMASH our SDGs, we had to dig deep for more details. Each and every SDG highlighted in the challenge has sub-targets, indicators and KPIs to measure the progress done. In our turn, we’ve selected co-related targets in each SDG in order to offer a solution connecting all five of them. As a matter of fact, in this study we’ve settled on the following targets;
-SDG #3, target 3.9 and 3.d
-SDG #6, target 6.3 and 6.b
-SDG #11, target 11.5
-SDG #14, target 14.1 and 14.3
-SDG #15, target 15.3
As a solution we’re offering a Mobile Application that targets both public and authority. This includes the use of Machine Learning Model for early prediction and risk notification for both parties as well as pattern data recording.
The model is supported by GIS System for analysis of;
-Water Chemicals
-Determination of waste water
-Water quality
-Analysis and prediction of water disasters
-Determination of floating plastics density
-Determination of average marine acidity
Future plans also include the prediction of endangered coastal cities and natural water disasters (tsunamis, etc)
The application also beholds an interactive media for a better user friendly experience involving a gamification with a full ranking system. Side to side stands the fully automated chatbot system and feedback box that would be used with the targets indicators and KPIs to measure the App performance and applying future modifications.
