The Challenge | Spot That Fire V2.0
Your challenge is to create an application that leverages NASA's near-real-time and archival wildfire datasets along with other tools to support firefighting and fire mitigation efforts. This challenge builds on last year’s challenge of the same name by calling for innovative ideas and apps that focus on how to engage and enable citizens to assist with the entire firefighting and fire mitigation process.

We develop an MVP application that allows reducing the number of fires by detecting them early.
We are engineering students and we create FireAlert!
We chose the challenge of fires because we live it!

The problem with fires is that they reach a point that cannot be controlled.
- SOME NUMBERS:
We talk about more than 1,000,000 hectares, and more than 18,000 fires in a single year (ARGENTINA).
In 2019 3,776,361 fires in the world.
