Viserion has received the following awards and nominations. Way to go!
VISERION: Integrated Fire Fighting Monitoring and Assistance System.
The system receives data from NASA satellites, which provide points where there has been a thermal anomaly in the last 24 hours. With the location, a zone is marked on the map indicating the location of the anomaly.
The event can be confirmed with a monitoring drone, which can be sent to the location and confirm by camera the existence of a fire. Alternatively, a team may be sent to the site to inquire.
In case of a small fire, the drone, guided by a professional, can release the fire extinguishing ball that is attached to it, thereby controlling the fire. If the fire has large proportions, the professional triggers a fire fighting team that will move to the scene, and can monitor the entire event with the drone, giving information on changes and whatever else they think is necessary.
The drone is equipped with a wind sensor that can help the professional predict fire behavior as it has a wide view of the terrain, climate, wind speed and direction.
It is still possible to receive citizen calls through the app. Citizen records a photo of the fire site, and adds remarks if necessary. The image, user coordinates, and observations are sent to the system, which marks the location on the map, with a different marker than that used for satellite events. With the image and information, the professional then decides whether or not to send a team to the site.
The coordinates in the mobile app are captured automatically, instead of allowing the user to indicate a point on the map, thus minimizing the possibility of prank calls as the photo must be close to the location.
With locations and callings, the professional sets priorities and decides what should and should not be done, when and how. Once resolved, the ticket is marked as resolved and is no longer listed on the map. The same can be done in case of hazing or inconsistent calling.
Thermal and call events data is retained, even when resolved, for reporting.
This solution is designed to aid monitoring, prevention, increase combat efficiency and effectiveness, and reduce response time and verify events where there are not necessarily humans.
Our biggest impact is the preservation of life.
The system is developed in ReactJS, React Native and Node.js.
