The Challenge | Surface-to-Air (Quality) Mission
Your challenge is to integrate NASA data, ground-based air quality data, and citizen science data to create an air quality surface that displays the most accurate data for a location and time. Create algorithms that select or weight the best data from several sources for a specific time and location, and display that information.
AR2AiR provides to citizens real time air quality status by merging satellite and gound sensors data into a single AR interface

A Berlin team of three
The forth lost on the way
Citizen science we all love, but
The topic couldn’t make her stay
With AR as our tool
to capture eyes of curious minds
and data to back it up we want
to increase engagement in science
Copernicus Open Access we chose
to serve as our satellite data base
Combined it with a sensor network
To present it in GPS-aided local space
And as an example to further
the satellite sensor fusion approach
we chose to open-source,
allowing everyone to improve or poach
