The Challenge | Surface-to-Air (Quality) Mission
Your challenge is to integrate NASA data, ground-based air quality data, and citizen science data to create an air quality surface that displays the most accurate data for a location and time. Create algorithms that select or weight the best data from several sources for a specific time and location, and display that information.
Sensorar
SensorAr is a smart sensor that, along with NASA’s air quality data base, enhances public understanding and sends emergency alerts.
Background.
We are a student team from University of Brasilia and Instituto Federal de Brasília that are engaged in several projects to contribute to push society forward into sustainable way of live.
Resources.
We used our knowledge in software designing, hardware development and user experience theory.
Challenges Faced.
We had to overcome programming bugs, hardware problems and pitch construction. In the end we are proud of what we have developed, since we are contributing to reduce air pollution.
