We are GloWar Team, from Navojoa, Sonora, Mexico, the idea was a purpose to invite to people to put the garbage in place, but how can we do that?

The motive of the development of our project it’s to make social conscienceby an attractive idea for users, for this one we have a specific public, the student in Universidad Estatal de Sonora placed in Navojoa, Sonora.

We want to make an application for smartphones, if you localize the correct trash can, and your app could scan the QR Code, where in change of throw the garbage you can reclaim the points for that product, and if you have an amount of point in specific you also can reclaim in the cafeteria school for amazing discounts or by the way for free food.

It takes care of three topic for a one, like we say in Mexico a phrase “Dos Pájaros De Un Tiro”, yes sound funny , in English could be translated like “Two Bird by a shot”, but our grandfathers and fathers sometimes they say that in our lives

Who are that points?

• School Care: It helpsto keep clean the school and gives a good view without any garbage in the environment
• Students: With the finally to also helps students and at the same time make them care of their garbage and received something in change of the activity
• Environmental Care: The simple fact to want to keep clean the university just throwing your garbage in the trash can make a big difference to the future.

Our experience:

We think was a amazing experience, yes it was hard to do, but we know was worth to learn, the way as we work was funny to be in that work station, my team and I we know at the high school, and it makes you remember the good old days, the only harder fac was the time and even we stay at the workstation until down to make it work, we still finish the project in the lapse predefined and we still can’t finish

We want to repeat it in the next years and come back with more knowledge in future to work together again and finish it, and we can try to win the Space App Challenge, even be working in famous places
