Predicting Solar Irradiance using Machine Learning techniques
Used machine learning algorithms to make prediction models for calculating solar irradiance values in advance, so solar panels can be used for electricity production instead of using coal ,gas which cause C02 emission global warming & warm the planet EARTH
I have made a prediction model using Machine Learning techniques and used NASA data set of weather parameters ; which include ALL SKY shortwave radiation , wind speed, wind direction, humidity , dew point, moisture , atmospheric pressure, ALL SKY insolation clearness index.
This prediction model will help in prediction of future values of Solar Irradiance 24 hours ahead which will help grid operators and solar farm owners to make future plans for electricity generation, and help them to use maximum solar energy and avoid conventional power generation sources which cause C02 emissions in the atmosphere which make the earth warm and increase global warming.
