GREEMUNERATION - Doing Good Doing Well

We are five students from different backgrounds, from Production and Innovation Engineering to Computer Engineering to Law.

We have seen that there is a lack of adequate tools for monitoring and controlling compliance with international environmental treaties.
So we want to fed the data about CO2 emissions retrieved from the OCO-2 NASA Satellite into a smart contract algorithm that calculates the difference between your emission data and the limit imposed by international agreements and then returns, based on this difference and other parameters like your GDP, your balance of the “tokenized” carbon credits.
Our project will use Blockchain technology to increase transparency, ensure right utilization of environmental funds and reduce costs by removing third-parties.

Moreover we have written a possible Business Model and found farther implementations of our idea.
