Oxygen Production From Soil

Pollution in Nature is increasing day by day. As a result carbon-dioxide is increasing and oxygen is decreasing in air in an alarming rate. So to maintain ecological balance and supply oxygen for emergency purpose it will be very effective.

Syntax Error

Pollution problem is increasing day by day, as a result some problems are arising. This problems are global warming, respiration system and photosynthesis due to cutting trees. That’s why oxygen level is decreasing day by day which we should think about. So we came over with an idea to solve this problem.

We can follow two different ways to produce oxygen from soil.

  • 2 Fe2O3 + 3 C --> 4 Fe + 3 CO2 (This CO2 then produce oxygen by Photosynthetic reaction)
  • Fe2O3 + 2Al --> 2Fe + Al2O3

Al+3 + 3e- --> Al 2

O-2 --> O2 + 4e

(Requires too much temperature)

But there are some problems with those reactions. For the first reaction, Extra CO2 is being produced that we do not want. And for the second one, it requires too much temperature to make this reaction as well as pure aluminum is rare.

So, we introduced another one that can solve this problems easily.

  • 2Fe2O3 -->2Fe2 + 3O2-

(Melt in 950°C)

This is more cost efficient than the previous one. And we get iron that can be used in many ways.

This project can be used for any emergency supply or in future when there will be lack of oxygen due to deforestation.
