Co2 Prison
Co2 prison: Is a cover for phones that include a fire stones called peridotite which have a property to catch Co2 from the air. At the same time, the cover makes phones lower temperature
Why did we choose this challenge?
Each year, Earth produces a huge amount of CO2 which threatens the humans’ and creatures’ life on Earth in direct and indirect way. CO2 is a main factor for many of the natural disasters on earth.
What is the problem?
Global warming is a phenomenon that comes from the increase of the amount of CO2 in the air which leads to other problems, like:
- Climate change:
- Melting glaciers:
- Forest Fires:
It is considered to be the main cause for the death of many creatures, who couldn’t adapt with the climate changing.
It is the main reason for the rise of the sea level.
It leads to the increase of CO2 and pollution in the air, the decrease of the green
space on earth as well as the death of many animals.
What is the solution?
After spending a lot of time in researching, the team comes to invent a cover for the self-phones which helps clean the air of Co2 and at the same time working as a cooling system for the self-phones. It consists of a pump that works on pumping the air from outside to the inside where it will be treated by small parts of the Peridotite stone. The Peridotite stone is afire stone that is known for its ability to intake the CO2 and turn it to COCO3 which works its best when incurred with hot water and therefore, we put a brass to transfer the heat from the self-phone to the Peridotite and heat it up. Through this way, the heat transfers from the self to the air and create the best environment to decrease the co2 of the air.
Who is our target users?
Everyone who have a self-phone can be part of the solution, since it can be provided to all different kinds of self-phones.
