We had to minimize the resources further, such as converting mp4 to gif format and compressing png images with transparent background. we used an online tool to make the tranformation

After George and Ka Jie finished getting the resources we need, they moved on to creating the pitch deck and rehearsing what to say

George is an employee of AirAsia and we were fortunate enough to have a private space for overnight work

We initially tried using canvas (a html element) to have wider control over what is displayed, but figured out it would take too long to build. Teck Han spear headed the switch to using "when element in view, perform action (like playing audio clips)"

We brainstormed together and charted down how the website should look like.

Our team divided up work to look for resources (video, audioclips, images) and transforming them into usable and compressed formats while the developers worked on the website.

George and Ka Jie worked on the resources while Lester, Teck Han and I worked on the website.

We have decided to use Google Cloud Platform to host our project, using App Engine to serve the website and Google Cloud Storage to host the resources such as audio files. The managed service allows the whole team to focus on the end product which is hosted here: https://artofthemoon.appspot.com

Robert Shelton, NASA Learning Technologies Team, lost his sight at the age of 11 but that didn't stop him from being interested in science and mathematics. Blind people have been excluded from science and our project hopes to inspire more (blind) people to take up science.

We embarked on this project hoping to create a responsive website which plays every important step towards putting the first man on the moon.
