We, Team Mediator, have worked on the challenge 'The Art Side of The Moon' to pay tribute to the 1902 movie 'A Trip To The Moon' which fantasized humanity's voyage to the moon, only to be converted into reality 67 years later. We've created a short animation with rugged, handmade style to fit with the era of the movie. We've combined art with Augmented Reality to create this project, marking the 50 year anniversary of man's first step on the moon.

We envision our project to work as an interactive treasure hunt which awards you with the ticket to get your name to the moon. We aim to start a global trend where people would be frantically searching for these posters, placed at random locations, to earn their ticket.

We've used Illustrator for vector graphics, Photoshop for textures, and After Effects for motion. To integrate it with AR, we used Unity and Vuforia. Finally for audio we used '11-03301,' '11-03331,' and '938-AAG' audio files in NASA's Audio Library.

We think it is possible to impact the world with art and we, Team Mediator, hope to do so with our project.
