To the moon and STAY has received the following awards and nominations. Way to go!
About us:
We are "To the moon and STAY", a team comprised by two designers, Daniela Braghini and Laura Luz Pilz; a developer, Luís Pozenato; a business analyst, Paulo Ricardo Moraes; and a scientist, Gustavo Alcaria Ramos. We are passionate about people, technology and creativity.
Motivation:
We believe mankind is moved by good stories. The first manned Moon landing, in 1969, has made us rediscover our childhood dreams and inspired us to delve deeper into this story. We took a brief glance into the past and realized that, in fact, that one small step for a man was a giant leap for mankind. After the Moon, in the 1969, we had technological advances that improved life on Earth. Because of that, we truly believe that everyone deserves to live the experience of a new landing on the Moon.
The Challenge:
The lack of public support makes it difficult to secure funding for the American space program which, in turn, makes it harder to plan a new trip to the Moon.
According to a nationwide poll conducted in May, 68% of people believe it's more important for the U.S. space program to monitor objects that could impact Earth, while only 23% think it's important to return astronauts to the Moon. People are failing to realize the true value behind this mission.

Our Solution:
The "Fly Me to the Moon" project will make it possible for everyone to experience the Moon in an entertaining way.
And what does this mean?
Our platform will make it possible for people of all ages and backgrounds to live this unique experience. By leveraging current technologies such as VR and livestreams from the lunar surface, everyone will be able to secure their own space passport and realize their childhood dreams of becoming a (virtual) astronaut. Our mission is to offer people a taste of what this lunar experience feels like.
By putting your name into your passport, you will also have it sent to the Moon aboard the Orion spacecraft. Your passport is your official portal to interact and keep up with NASA's missions, and it contains exclusive information about the first trip to the Moon, plans for 2024, the first woman to step on the Moon and technologies you have never seen before! We want to bring thrilling adventures, that could very well inspire blockbusters and hit songs, right to your daily life. With this, we want to engage the widest possible audience so that everyone can know about the past, wish for a better future and immerse themselves in this mission with NASA.
But to make all of this possible, we need your help... because we're going together!
Future Plans:
We aim to bring educational activities and challenges about technology, science, innovation and creativity into our platform.
Inspirations:
Childhood, dreams, 1969, stories, the past, Frank Sinatra's "Fly Me to the Moon", mankind, the future, education, scientific collaboration, VR, AR, adventures.
