Challenge was to develop a way to detect, map, and mitigate lunar dust to reduce the effects on astronauts or spacecraft interior systems. But we made it simple
We identified the root cause of the problem i:e why dust sticks
proposed two solutions
1.Teflon coating on the surface of materials
2.Nano structures on the surface of objects (lotus effect a nature inspired design )
Our proposed solutions are not only solving a problem but its also saving money ,energy , research efforts ,power consumption in space making astronauts more comfortable while on moon and the best thing is that it reduces health risks of both astronauts and space systems
Solution no 1 is the most feasible solution it repels dust ,liquid, oil able to operate in extreme conditions now this solution is needed to be tested with these condition & more data is needed about the conditions of rocket while traveling.
