The Challenge | Eeny, Meeny, Miney, Sample!

You are the astronaut/robotic mission lead tasked with bringing valuable specimens from the Moon back to Earth for further study. How will you evaluate lunar samples quickly and effectively before or while still on the mission? How will you differentiate samples of potential scientific value from less interesting material?

Moon mission cost money and it's danger, our project aim to establish a maching learning system connected to a Robot that will learn to determine the type of moon's rocks, based on the chemical composants and the characteristics of the rock

when collecting the rock, the robot will analyse the rock, and send the informations to the system, and determine the type.

After several experiences, the system will learn to detect the exact type of rock.

the Robot contains three compartments :

1) dust analysing system

2) pumps that will absorb the dust and put it in the compartement 1


3) rock analysing system (Scaning Electron Microscopy)
and a dynamic part of the robot,......

our main project is based on the machine learning system, and the robot is just a tool to realise our project
to train the machine learning system, we will need the rock data ( available in the data center of NASA ) and the goal is to create a smart connected system, this how it's work :

1- the pumps will absorb the dust above the rock, and put it on the dust room, we will use the nondestructive evalmetruation (NDE) inspection technologies such as 3D X-ray,
X-ray Fluorescence (XRF), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Neutron Spectro
