Wewanted to create an actual working prototype game, but nobody of ourteam had prior game making experience so we were advised to use GBStudio.
Idea of the game is to first create our own Sun in the Solarsystem, and then create planets to orbit that Sun. Game will havesome preset constants and use scientifically accurate formulas. Forexample, game needs player to input/choose mass of the planet, anddistance from the Sun, but if they don't match the gravitational pullformula, the planet will fly out of the orbit.
On "second phase" when successful planet has beencreated, player will "send" humans to that planet, and seeif they can survive on it, colonize that planet and even colonize newplanets that you create! (This part is just concept atm.)
The game itself would provide accurate formulas with easy tounderstand logic. E.g. with formula F=mv^2 we could say that if weincrease the mass (m), the force (F) would increase. After user have created his/her planet game would compare the statistics of it with planets in NASA space database and let the user know more, if similar are found.
Our game is designed to be web based so it could be played by"all" who access to computer.
