Fraktal has received the following awards and nominations. Way to go!
Background: As students of Digital Games Development, our idea was to gamify information and provide these to people around the world as an easy and fun way to learn about space, planets and stars.
What it does: You can create a star, with its own name, temperature, size and rotation speed. The next step is to create planets that will orbit it, each defined by it's name, size, composition, speed, distance to the star and more. All that calculated in real time, giving the player an instant look at what that planet and/or star will look like.
NASA Resources: To acquire more information about planet formation and its fundamental data, we used NASA's overview of our solar system planets, and its caracteristics. (https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/planets/overview/)
Future Plans: We want to implement the ability to add moons with its own characteristics, add more than one star, add quizzes and tips with information about space and more. We'd like to keep working on this project, if the feedback is positive.
Built with: Unity 3D, Maya, Visual Studio, Visual Code, FL Studio, Audacity, Photoshop and GIMP.
