The Challenge | Build a Planet

Your challenge is to create a game that will allow players to customize the characteristics of a star and design planets that could reasonably exist in that star system. Ensure that this game provides an educational experience for players!

Sirius: Interestellar analysis on our reach

Sirius exploration simulator creates an interactive platform available to enrich space analysis

Sirius

Motivation:

The universe is a massive place full of possibilities and our curiosity feed us to go beyond our reach. As humans we meant to be explorers, miners, nomads. We transcend by developing our efforts based on searching and creating new ways to conquer.

Solution:

Create a simulator with data analysis that represents the behavior of simulated but mathematical viable planets representing the composition as the atmosphere, temperature and its ability to habit it.

Why it’s important?

We need to concentrate all the scattered information generated on different data bases, we believe it is necessary to have a system that contains the most concentrated and complete data base.

Future plans:

To develop the biggest and more complete data analytic simulator which would help to provide information on viable planets and planetarium systems, We open the door to use this information in a way never seen before by projecting investments based on tourism, minery or explore those simulator planets.
By this we transform the vision of intergalactic activities going beyond our imagination.

Resources:

https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/planets - Used to export color palettes on hexadecimal code from planets already on Nasa´s data.

https://www.jpl.nasa.gov/edu/teach/activity/modeling-the-structure-of-the-solar-system/ - From this resource it was possible to obtain the parameters to establish the habitable zones with respect to the star of the system. Also, from this it was possible to determine the location of the generated planets given their characteristics
