StellarportationVR
Stellarploration is a VR exploration and educational game about the solar system and star system present in our galaxy.it Is a Virtual reality simulation of the solar system and planets as well as the star and their exoplanet.
BACKGROUND
We build this project to to enhance the educational experience of the astronomy and space related stuffs.The search for the life beyond earth inspired me to create a exoplanet simulation of the stars.
WHAT HAVE WE MADE ?
- Solar System and Stellar System Simulation in VR.
- Orbital Simulation of the Exoplanet.
- VR Space Exploration game.
WHAT IT DOES ?
- It allows exploration of different Exoplanet with accurate data in the simulation.
- Immersive Exploration through interstellar space.
- Exploration of different stars and their orbital system.
- AccurateSimulation of the Orbital period, size ,color , temperature,radius.
- Immersive VR Graphical representation of the Kepler stellar data.
- Allow to user to go inside the exoplanet from a first person view perspective.
CHALLENGES
The main challenge was understanding the astronomy data from the Kepler telescope.We failed to incorporate some of the NASA data into the simulation like the color of the exoplanet so made it a arbitrary texture.

FUTURE PLANS
We are planning to make this simulation realistic as possible by adding more simulation feature of the different celestial body in the space like comets,dwarf planets,dark matters ,black hole etc for a better visualization purpose while doing research. We are planning to incorporate the voice command feature for understanding user intents for a better interface with the simulation.
