Our team built a 3D space simulating game under the category of Planets near and far and the sub-category is build a planet. Using NASA data we made a star and planetary system where player can customize the design based on reasonable characteristics.
According to our current knowledge, planets are formed around a new star by condensing in a disc of molecular gas and dust, embedded within a larger molecular cloud. Condensation increases until they become giant planets, which are heated, then cleanse their orbits in the disc and possibly bend it. Remaining gas in the disc finally disappears, leaving planets, a disc of dust and debris.
We made a dynamic system for player Where they can select star for creating planet.The planet mass,radius and atmosphere dynamically change when player customize the planet design.By playing this game,They can get educational experience about star and planetary system.
Player can make livable planet in game by acquiring the knowledge of this solar system from this game. If they can't able to make a livable planet,they have to play the game more to understand the characteristics of a livable planet.
