The Challenge | Build a Planet

Your challenge is to create a game that will allow players to customize the characteristics of a star and design planets that could reasonably exist in that star system. Ensure that this game provides an educational experience for players!

An Educational app , using NASA's data , the app contain Chat bot, videos of astronomers, images, live broadcasts of NASA, space travel and a celestial map, to apply what they have learned in a design that simulates the natural characteristics by drawing .

MOTIVATION

We note the children’s have many questions about space and playing between each other in space topic. In addition to that we have passion to teaching astronomy and space science and having the desire experience in technology to create an app help passions user, we found this an opportunity to invest our interest in.

PROBLEM

• People their age from 10-25 have a passion to learn how to design a galaxies, stars or planets and know its characteristic.

• There isn’t a lot of apps that provide a full knowledge about space, planets, galaxies and stars.

• There are no official sources that provide them with all the space information grouped in one place.

SOLUTION

There are 65% of people interested in space world according to that we created an educational app that contain Chat bot, videos of astronomers, images, live broadcasts of NASA's official channel, space travel and a celestial map, to apply what they have learned in a design that simulates the natural characteristics of galaxy, planets and stars through drawing.

• Will increase their knowledge and culture about the world of space.

• Reliable source for users.

• Increased user ability to properly design a galaxy star by having a NASA-based audio debugger.

• Enriching the knowledge of amateurs in an entertaining and fun way and utilizing their time in an educational and entertaining direction.

VALUES FOR NASA:

• Utilize the database provided by NASA in the work of the application.

• Classification of planets: internal planets like (MERCURY , VENUS , EARTH , MARS ) and

external like : ( JUPITER , SATURN , URANUS , NEPTUNE ).

• Classification of stars: the closest stars to Earth like (ANTARES , SIRIUS) .

• Developing and increasing the number of people interested in astronomy and space, which means that in the long term, more astronauts could be invested in.
