AN IDEA FOR VENUS
spaceappschallenge – 2019
Team: Reunided
THE CHALLENGE: Traditional electronics do not work well on Venus, and memory is one of the biggest challenges. Your challenge is to develop mechanical approaches to accomplishing tasks normally done electronically within the context of space exploration.
DIFFICULTIES: With its sulfuric acid clouds, temperatures over 450°C, and 92 times the surface pressure of Earth, Venus is one of the most hostile planetary environments in the solar system.
IDEIA:
Entering Mode: Zeppelin, a probe doing signal capting. Get information from Rover. (Projeto NASA de Estação Flutuante em Marte).
Surface Entering Mode:T he Rover Will fall with parachute on the planet. (USSR’s Venera13).
EXTERNAL SURFACE: Rover’s gerometry;
INSULATING MATERIAL:Zirconia Refractories;
INTERNAL MATERIAL: Graphene;
MOVEMENT DIRECTION: Backward and Forward;
MOVEMENT ENERGY:Pendular Rotation and Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
ELECTRIC ENERGY: Nuclear battery utilizing nickel-63 beta decay. (Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology– MIPT,Technological Institute for Superhard and Novel Carbon Materials– TISNCM, National University of Science and Technology - MISIS).
Comunication:Radio transmission.
