The Challenge | The Memory-Maker

Traditional electronics do not work well on Venus, and memory is one of the biggest challenges. Your challenge is to develop mechanical approaches to accomplishing tasks normally done electronically within the context of space exploration.

The Hunting Dog

The Hunting Dog utilizes a series of turbines to move the rover and a brand new system called "Siskovhi" to cool down the electronics and the rover.

Venus Arclight

We are students that have a dream of making an impact in the Space Apps Challenge and create a rippling effect throughout the world. When we saw the challenge, we were instantly hooked and signed up as soon as possible.

We investigated everything that NASA and the internet to acquire knowledge about Venus, other attempts and properties in order to create an ideal rover for Venus. We also used formulas to calculate how long it can survive on Venus and SolidWorks to create a prototype of the rover.

The 48 hours we had were filled with challenges, like the acidic clouds, high temperatures and the pressure that Venus can give in its atmosphere, but through determination and creativity, we were able to solve this problem in an extraordinary way.
