Beginning with the design or concept of a current aircraft or spacecraft, your challenge is to engineer the design of the first aircraft or spacecraft with no wires, connectors, or penetrations! You may choose to add functions that the original vehicle does not have. Be sure to identify future aerospace applications as specifically as possible.

A380 Wireless Innovation focuses on reducing wiring in aircraft and bringing new innovations to increase value for money.
Our team focused on researching possibilities of changing majority of copper wires with fiber optics, using wireless technologies, wireless power delivery, wireless sensors and also had a look at more innovative technologies future might bring. We used the internet, research papers and scholar articles as a main source of information. Using wireless technologies instead of copper wires means overcoming problems with signal (i. e. due to weather conditions or hacking). We approximated how much would our enhancements save in order to find out how big is increase in value of money.
