We are an International Team inspired by space challenges, and for this occasion we developed a web-app pixel art game called <<Intorno*>>. Intorno* is an italian word meaning “nearby” or “around”."Intorno*” (in mathematics talks about a point) is the name for an open set containing the point.

Our Game adresses the subject of space debris collection in Earth Orbit. It is estimated that around 15,000 to 23,000 pieces of orbital debris with an approximated speed of 17,000 miles per hour, therefore it is a common threat to space stations and satellites. With Intorno*we are trying to depict this problem by a simple arcade game which tries to inform and to lead a general public to a more in-depth knowledge and awareness of the problem.
