It's 2045 on Planet Earth, Solar System. In a galaxy not so far away...
It could sound like the intro of a known movie. But that's not so. Our idea is Chronos, a space agency that was born from the dream of eight italian students during the 2019 edition of NASA Space Apps Challenge in Naples.
We supposed, making an assumption about the maximum speed growth from these days to 2045, that velocity near to relevant fractions of c will be possible in a near future. Nuclear engines? Matter/antimatter collisions? Maybe.
Chronos has the skill to take interplanetaty trips, but what kind of? No one would ever book a cruise ticket before knowing the route. So we decided to plan the possible Chronos itineraries. This brought us to think about a specified time of the year, in order to exactly know when and where celestial objects (especially trans-neptunian objects) are. In doing this, we thought of establishing 20th October 2045 as the zero-date for Chronos' trips. Using NASA https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/, we collected very important informations about outer Solar System planets, their Moons and what could possibly interest (on a Biological, Geological, Astronomical and even Social scale) an hypothetical Chronos' tourist, even through the use of the objects 3D models.
So we decided the three 'Oct-45 itineraries':
Itineraries were presented on a brochure that was given the Local Judges during our speech, like a real agency would have done!
The activities tourists could enjoy doing during descents were discussed looking at https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/ and taking suggestions from its content.
Further, we concentrated on how an enterpreneur could take advantage from this new spaceway: energy? Metals? Gases? Resources? And why should an enterpreneur choose our transport?
Everything is ready: fleet, trips, itineraries, activities, custom ideas. The moment to get there has come!
We decided not to be late: we created a website,
https://chronos2045.squarespace.com/ (PWD 2045), where you can book one of the mentioned trips, keep in touch with us or learning more about our project.

Uh! Fresh news! We won an award as "Next Possible Future Project"! Thank you, NASA.
See you next year!
